My shopping trip....

I have just come home after buying my beautiful chandelier. The photos is actually from the showroom and the sales assistant wasn't really keen on me taking the photos. I have noticed a ever increasing trend of shops having a no photo policy. The photos do not show how nice it is in real life, I am not the best photographer, point and click is my style! The crystals you wrap around yourself so you can create any design you want. My dream has come true....I have always wanted this light fitting and now it is going into my new home.
Isn't it funny how we can get all excited over finding that one special piece. It makes the wait and the search all so sweeter.

Yay, Mrs B!!!!! :-)

Can't wait to see it in your dining room!!

I always get excited when I find just the right piece for our house. And it doesn't have to be a big or expensive piece -- finding the perfect $25 accessory is just as exciting as finding the right sofa :-)

We love modern! Nice pics and ideas. My wife and I own a faux finish biz in the Nashville, TN area. We do some really cool modern/urban contemporary finishes. Take a look at www.mojofaux.com to see some of the work. Thanks for sharing with us!

Hello Mrs. B... Two visits from DesignTies in two days! :-)

I love your new chandelier. Great find! My blog partner (Kelly) wrote that you'll use it in your dining room... is this the case (because you didn't mention it in your post)? Where ever you put it I'm sure it'll look fantabulous!!

I've noticed a growing reluctance for phot taking in shops, too. I think it's a shame because when pulling together a room... or a home... you need to be able to catalogue your finds, compare them to others and so on... photo taking is important!

Thank you so much for your supportive and positive comments about my client's fireplace remodel! I had fun with the design... but it was also a little nerve wracking because Kate was spending a lot of money on an IDEA and a drawing. But it turned out... phew!! I'd love to see photos of the walls (exterior?) you said were like this.

See you around Blogville!
