The latest picture of one of my son's bedroom (yes I know, the never ending saga) Believe me I have tried and tried and tried to make it look as nice as possibly...sigh. The problem is, no matter how much $$$$$'s is spent in this room in regards to decoration, nothing can compete with what is on the opposite side of the room, the wall you cant see. Think BOY heaven! Every possible gadget and game consol a teenage boy could ever wish for. So here it is with Collingwood football pictures stuck on the walls for extra effect. Please tell me that everybody else has problems decorating for older teenage boys....or is it just me LOL
Now this is better! Great cushion, trendy light , perfect for my son's room. I really like this shop from etsy and they some fabulous cushions all unique and hand crafted.
On another note, I cannot wait for The Block tonight for the bathroom reveals! All I can say is

Dear Mrs B, I'm so with you with the teen age thing. I'm choosing bedroom decor for my 9 year old son and I want it to LAST at least 5 years! And look nice.(I think we have chosen the same bed linen at this point!?) My adult daughters (19 & 21)wont let me post pics of their rooms. I wouldn't anyway! Grrr!!! Vodka bottles and printed 'facebook' pictures of late night partying are NOT decorator accessories!!! It's easier to close the door!!!!

I thought decorating a girls room would be Heaven! But when they grow older, they have different priorities in life and having a well designed room is not one of them ? hehe

From what I’ve seen in the past when colour consulting for parents with teen boys…..
Leave them to it……nothing you do will make them happy, learn to close the door so you don’t have to look at.
At least he hasn’t asked for black walls yet.

No DS1 is not at all into Black, quite the opposite. But talking about black walls, katrina and Amie painted a small portion of their bathroom wall black...maybe its a girl thing? LOL
